Why I love Maui Beach Weddings
Kelly + Luke’s maui beach wedding expressed exactly who they were as a couple, their love for the ocean, the white sandy maui beaches, and of course the sunset horizon. This maui beach front wedding was an absolute dream! when I arrived at their venue, it felt like home, from the girls twerking upstairs to the guys jumping in the ocean before they got ready to celebrate.
I wanted to ask Kelly + Luke how they felt with me third wheeling all day at their maui wedding + tips they had for you!
Kelly said.. i knew i wanted you to shoot our wedding from the very start! literally you were the first vendor i secured besides our venue. of course i did my due diligence and got quotes from a few other maui photographers, but i felt that since we had a connection (and our connection began at Oli Oli Kai!!) that i would be most comfortable with you, there was no comparison. it was always you BB!!! Me and Luke are awkward haha and i’m no model so i know i’m awkward in front of a camera, but it was our WEDDING DAY!!! i couldn’t help but feel confident and beautiful and Luke looked sooo handsome. The property is a dream so i knew that any angle you were shooting was magic. i was soaking up all the feels and emotions through your photography! it was a dream! Tips for any couple who is planning their maui wedding- less is more! that goes for everything- hair, makeup, jewelry, decor, etc. if you're getting married on maui, just know that the natural surroundings are so beautiful all on their own that it doesn’t need much to make your wedding have that magical, dreamy, romantic feel... it just happens naturally.
